Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street | Review

I found this review about the show and they said the episode with Elizabeth is one of the best. 😀 Oh it contains spoilers.

One of the bravest things the series tackles this season is the unexpected death of Mel’s mother. It’s a difficult topic for any child to consider, let alone experience, and the show handles the storyline with impeccable grace. The episode, “Mel vs. the Future” is one of this finest episodes you will see this year in all of television. And I can’t stress enough the performances of the series’ young actors — Emmy committee take note.

I also find this article, they only mentioned Liz but I thought to share it anyway!

Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street with Liz

/581d94cbdd2728ef0c927e955ced991a/tumblr_nx1sa5X3VA1qcns0vo5_250.gif Guys, nobody remembered that “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street” comes out today, huh?

Liz plays Melody Fuller in the episode 2×12. Go on Amazon.com to watch it. It’s a very moving episode and a touching story.

[Spoilers]

Melody is Mel (one of the main characters of the series) from the future and she goes back in time to stop the young herself to build the time machine. She waste all her life only to find out that you cannot change someone else’s destiny (Mel’s mom has just died) and in order to achieve something that is not possible, she lost everyone. She didn’t experience anything and she basically didn’t live a life. Liz played the role as if there’s something childish in Melody and that’s because you cannot entirely grow up when you miss everything that life has to offer you.

Oh by the way, we added some gifs on tumblr , if you wanna see them. :)

“Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street”: One Episode With Liz

Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street Hey everyone, as we already told you in the past few days, Liz has just filmed some scenes for the Amazon series “ Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street “ . We have a confirmation that she will be a guest star in just one episode of the show towards the end of season 2. The release date should be October 30 or early November. This is what Sloane Siegel told us about it:

You are most welcome. The pleasure was all mine. It’s just one episode, but I can tell you that she does an amazing job in it. It will be released in season 2 hopefully on 30 October or sometime in early November. The name of the episode is changing but it will be towards the end of the season.

New Project: “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street”

UPDATE : Sloane also wrote this:

She was awesome to work with.

This makes me think that Liz is only a guest star in the first episode of season 2. I watched the pilot today and it’s a cute show about kids. The only recurring grown-up character is Gortimer’s mom. I read Fionnula Flanagan was in a couple of episodes tho. 😛

PS: We created the page for the project, you can see it at this link and it will be added into the filmography page asap.

***

Hi everyone, Liz is filming a new project right now!!! It’s called “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street” . The actor who plays Gortimer ( Sloane Morgan Siegel ) on the show posted a pic with her and wrote:

Got to work with the talented and absolutely beautiful Elizabeth Mitchell!

She looks stunning in this pictures! <3

They are currently filming season 2. For those who live in USA, you can watch season 1 on Amazon.com and this is the imdb page if you wanna know more about it.
